Reviewing our Terms & Conditions is mandatory before starting your order process.

Users who visit primeleather.co.nz or make purchases on the site agree to these Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Refund Policy. All website users participate under these policies regardless of user type, such as browser, customer, vendor, or content contributor.

The website owner may modify any portion of the current Terms without notice. This page displays all updates that will take effect instantly unless specific exceptions appear. Users who keep using the website agree to all changes implied in these terms.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

Users must be at least 18 years old or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian to make a purchase. By placing an order, the User represents that:

  • You will not engage in fraudulent or unlawful action on our site.

  • We do not guarantee that product images and descriptions are error-free or that your mobile/laptop display colours exactly.
  • The site reserves the right to withdraw products or initiate product updates instantly without preceding notifications.
  • Your order status becomes guaranteed when you process payment for the order.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices on our website are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.

As provided at checkout, we accept multiple secure payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and other gateways. After completing your purchase at Prime Leather, charge the full amount using your selected payment option.

We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment is not authorized or if there is suspected fraud or misuse.

5. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

Once you place the order with us, we will send you an email regarding your size confirmation. You must acknowledge that email within 24 hours and reply with your size. Once you confirm to us, we will process your order.

No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be entertained once your desired jacket (in your confirmed size) is delivered to you.

In case you did not reply to our email regarding your size confirmation within 24 hours. Don’t worry; we will process your order on time, but you will not be eligible for any refund, return, or exchange option.

We reserve the right to accept or reject your order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Inaccurate pricing
  • Suspected fraudulent activity

Orders may be cancelled at your request within 24 hours of placement as long as the order has not been shipped. After this period, cancellation may not be possible. See our Order Cancellation Policy for full details.

Online Shopping Policy

We reserve the right to accept or reject orders placed with us. If we reject an order, we will let you know why within 2 business days and refund any money that you have paid us.

Although we make consistent efforts to maintain enough inventory on our Website, unexpected supply problems along with size irregularities occur due to unpredictable market demand. If we are in stock shortage for an individual product that you ordered, you will be notified by email. Refund transactions for unavailable products need 3-5 business days to finish their processing due to time requirements.

Items for sale are only available at the sale price during the relevant sale period.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Please review our Shipping Policy for information on delivery methods, costs, estimated timeframes, and shipping restrictions.

While we do our best to ensure frequent delivery, we are not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs clearance processes, or natural events.

Your order processing timeline can become extended if any items you ordered prove unavailable for any reason.

Once your order is ready for shipping, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your consignment (tracking) number. If you have any queries about your delivery after the item has been shipped, please contact the relevant carrier directly with your consignment number.

Items will not be delivered on public holidays.

Shipping timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only and do not guarantee a specific delivery date.

Final Sale Items

During busy sale periods, dispatch times for orders may vary up to one week.

Items from the sale section are deemed final and cannot be refunded or exchanged unless your original order is out of the store.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

If you are not happy with an item you have received, we will issue you a refund if you return the item to us in the manner set out below. Items can be exchanged. We do not provide refunds unless your original order is out of stock.

You must return your items to the address above within 5 days from the day your order was delivered to you.

  • Please note that the shipping charges or any related expenses (customs fees, etc.) cannot be refunded.
  • Please note that all returns are shipped at the customer’s expense.
  • Items must be returned in a new and unused condition and have all tags and original packaging attached.
  • If you would like to exchange, contact customer support for the return address.
  • Until the returned item is received at Prime Leather headquarters, it is your responsibility to look after the product. We recommend using track and trace.
  • We offer a maximum of 1 exchange(s) after your original order.

Please return your parcel to the address provided by customer support using the same format. Please ensure that you fill out your return form with the order number and tax invoice number (if any). We are not responsible for duties, taxes, or any other fees when sent back to us.

Re-Delivery

All delivery methods require a signature from the customer upon receipt of the parcel. If there is no one available to accept your order, you will need to contact the relevant carrier to arrange pick up (often from the carrier’s depot) or re-delivery. Prime Leather accepts no liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including any indirect or consequential loss or damage) to you or any other person that is caused by missed deliveries or re-delivery.

8. Promotions and Discounts

From time to time, we may offer promotional codes or discounts. These are:

  • Valid only for the specified time.
  • Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  • Subject to early cancellation or modification without prior notice.

Only one promotional code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All assets on this website come from Prime Leather and its suppliers, who maintain their intellectual property rights over logos, text, product names, images, graphics, videos, and site design. Before you can reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit content, our written permission must be attained.

Unauthorized use can trigger legal consequences.

Prime Leather restricts liabilities to the maximum extent authorized by New Zealand laws:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or products.
  • Clients will bear losses from shipping delays, third-party courier errors, and product unavailability.
  • Damages caused by misuse, wear and tear, or failure to follow product care instructions.

Our maximum liability in connection with any product will not exceed the purchase price paid for that product.
